Home flex shaft

I bought this flex shaft to use with my electric drill (kinda like img 2) but when it touches my work the shaft gets all twisted. The part indicated doesn't have a screw thread to fix it like a Dremel shaft does. How do I avoid the twists? Do I need some extra part?
