When alpacas are shorn their outer coarse fibres, (which protects the animal from the elements) and their soft inner fleece, (to cool and warm them) are mixed and for the highest quality of alpaca bedding, these two fibre types need to be seperated. whihch we do using our proprietary MicroCombed process.
