Uncommon CL 9 CORE UC-100 remote control, serial no. 005368, developed by Steve Wozniak as the first programmable universal remote control. Based on the MOS 6502 microprocessor—the same one used in the Apple II—the remote features an LCD display, numeric keypad, and function buttons. It is a 'learning' remote control, able to record and replay IR signal patterns from other proprietary remotes. A serial interface on the underside allows it to connect to a computer, and each button is programmable
