The Elastic Waist Barrel Leg Pant is the perfect easy wearing pant that can be dressed up or down depending on the fabrication. This pattern is meant to sit 1" below your natural waist with a relaxed leg shape through hip and thigh and an easy elasticated waist. These pants have optional side seam pocket and back patch pocket. The pattern comes in a size range of XS-XXL. For reference, the woman pictured is typically a Size XS (W: 28”, H:38”, Height 5’5”) and is wearing a size XS. This style requires 1.5-2 yards for fabrics 60” wide. The amount will increase for narrower fabrics. Light weight denim, twill, linen or poplin would work best. Lightweight cotton lining needed for interior pocket bags. 3/4" elastic for waistband. The print-at-home PDF requires 30 pages of US Letter paper that will need to be taped together to create a ready-to-cut pattern.
