A charming, Ansonia mantle clock made of rosewood and walnut with an enamel hand decorated face with roman numerals. Below the clock face is a rectangular mirror. Inside the clock are remnants of paperwork describing the clock as an Ansonia eight day and thirty hours windup clock. The Ansonia clock company began in Ansonia, Connecticut in 1851 and later moved to Brooklyn, NY in 1878. The company remained in business until 2006, spanning 155 years. We are selling the clock as is, it appears to have all of it's parts and both keys, but cannot guarantee that it will run for 8days and 30hours!
