This is an unusual under-bust corset pattern with a beautiful curve to accentuate your waist. Sizes (UK) 6 -22 (US 2 - 18) 20-40'' waist. The corset can be cut in just 5 panels (if not using a centre busk/zip) once you have perfected the fit at the toile stage using the mid seam/gusset on the upper section and the mid seam/gusset on the hip panel - it is very quick to make up! The wavy horizontal panelling allows the over-sized 'tabs' of the crests and troughs to follow the contours of the body effectively enabling a corset to be made with very few panels. It is quite a short corset at the sides. I believe a beginner can make this design with ease - it just takes a bit of manipulation of the seams and gussets to amend the size/fit. Note that if your measurements are way outside of those given in the chart, results may not be as good. The boning channels are not marked on the nested pattern however suggested boning channels are shown on a diagram (this is a half sized 40'' that can be printed out for model making - a paper toile is a good way to get your head around how the pattern fits together!) INCLUDES A 28 PAGE DOCUMENT OF GENERAL CORSET CONSTRUCTION & FITTING NOTES (see video)! As with all corset patterns, this pattern is not a beginners level sewing project. Note – no lacing gap is factored into this pattern. The corset length measures 32cm at the centre front and 38cm at the back. This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant PDF download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box. It is recommended that you make a toile to check the fit of the pattern – adjust and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset.
