Laulauga Tausaga-Collins wins US' first women's discus world championship
American Laulauga Tausaga-Collins took gold in the women’s discus at the 2023 World Athletic Championships in Budapest, Hungary, on Tuesday. Tausaga-Collins won the competition with a throw of 69.49 meters, beating her previous personal best by nearly four meters and winning the United States’ first ever world championship gold in women’s discus.
